This course examines how we as individuals, living in a country founded on conquest, genocide, and slavery, are embedded within a system of racial hierarchy and how we, as humans, come to this moment. The very real consequences of the Doctrine of Discovery are now playing out in our national politics.

This will be a sweeping look at human history, starting over 34,000 years ago and continuing to the present. We will study Christianity and its fundamental role in colonialism and American history past and present. The course will also study the actual working documents, laws, and rulings here in the US and Canada that exist to this day, based on the Doctrine of Discovery.

This course is a combination of Deep Doctrine of Discovery Courses #1 & #2 that were given last year. For those of you interested in learning about how we have arrived at the world we live in today this is the essential background you need to begin to make sense of the great novel that is human existence.

CLASS 1 - 14.5 B YA TO 11,700 CE - FROM  ZERO TO HOMO SAPIENS IN 14.5 BILLION YEARS FLAT

The course begins at the big bang and goes through the development of life on Earth to mammalian life to the beginnings of the primates and finally to the development of the hominids of which homo sapiens is the last surviving member. We examine human society up until the end of the last ice age.

CLASS 2 - 11,700 - 4,000 BCE - ICE AGE’S END TO WAR’S INVENTION  - AGRICULTURE TO HIERARCHY

We look at the domestication of animals and plants and the birth of new agrarian societies through the domestication of horses and the discovery of metallurgy which lead to the invention of war. Human society went through (is still going through) a radical shift egalitarian matriarchal societies to hierarchical, patriarchal ones.

CLASS 3 - 4,000 BCE  - 36 CE - EMPIRE & HISTORICAL RELIGIOSITY,  POWER & ABSOLUTE INTOLERANCE

Hierarchy follows its logical course as many human societies structure themselves around emperors and and empire. We examine how many humans came under the thumb of large hierarchal societies all around the globe. A new religion, Judaism, brings the concept of the creator into recuntable history. We continue with the story of the Roman takeover of much of Europe, Asia, and Africa. We finish with the story of Yeshua (Jesus), his death, and the reinvention of that death’s meaning through the eyes of someone who never heard of him or met him, St. Paul and how Paul set his vision of the Yeshua’s words and actions into a new religion based on intolerance.

CLASS 4 - 37 - 711 CE - THE INVENTION OF CHRISTIANITY AND ISLAM

This class looks at the early divisions of the Church, the persecution of the early church, the wars of the emperor Constantine, His victory to become sole ruler of Rome and his brilliant idea to combine Christianity with the power of the Empire.  We then look at the conversion of the German peoples throughout northern Europe. This is followed by the creation of Islam, the other religion based on intolerance, which swept, through Europe, Asia, and Africa.

CLASS 5 - 712 - 1451 CE - JIHAD, CRUSADES, BLACK DEATH, TRADE, BOATS, THE INVENTION OF CHRISTIAN EUROPEAN RACISM,  1ST EUROPEAN COLONIES

This class examines the forces that lead to a new kind or racism, one backed up by ecclesiastical and secular power which allowed for the righteous destruction and enslavement of non-Christian peoples.

 

THE DEEP DOCTRINE OF DISCOVERY COURSE #3 - RACISM, CHRISTIANITY, & THE GLOBAL COLONIZATION OF THE WORLD

1415 - 1763 CE

FIVE CLASSES IN FIVE WEEKS / APRIL 27 - JUNE 1, 2023

This course looks at the initial colonization of most continents  around the world beginning with the conquering of Ceuta in North Africa by the Portuguese in 1414 and with the first global conflict called the 7 years war from 1756-1763. 

Christian White Racism as it appeared in the 15th century took years to crystallize into its final form. The class looks at how this uniform belief in white Christian European Superiority lead to the development of new ocean crossing boats and the advancement in the use of black powder lead to the submission of non-Christian people around the entire globe.

The Doctrine of Discovery gave the moral and theological backing to extreme violence followed by enslavement.

Course Description

Course #1 Hominid to Homily is in depth look into the origins of the history of the Christian Legal Justification for Native American Land Seizure, Genocide, Commercial Slavery, and the Contemporary Legal Basis  of Continued State Racism

The Deep Doctrine of Discovery (DDoD) Course #1 (of 5) will look into the latest archeological and anthropological data and though about homo sapiens origins a cooperative hominid species through post ice age societies world wide. DDoD Course #1 will look at the patterns of how agriculture began and the societies it created through to the City States, Hegemonic Empires of Antiquity, the story of the Jewish Tribe, the beginnings of laws, the Roman Empire, Yeshua, Paul of Tarsus, and the early Christian Church.

Here's is a description of what each session of Deep DoD Course #1 will cover:

Week #1 - Origins, Hominids, Homo Sapiens to the end of the Ice Age

Early Hominids to Homo sapiens, Learning as human's super power:  Language, tools, passed on knowledge, abstraction and art, Ice age societies around the world, how they were structured and their spiritual beliefs

Week #2 -  Community and Spirituality from 10,000 BCE to 4,000 BCE

Egalitarian Partnerships (shared power in community between sexes), Hunter-Gatherer, societies. Origins of Agriculture worldwide, Non-hierarchical societies with agriculture. The kaleidoscope of pre-historical community societies.

Week #3 - Hierarchy, Hegemony, and Hebrews

The Birth of Patriarchy, Private Property, Hierarchy, Hegemonic Empires of Antiquity. The Origin Story of the Jews until 0 CE, The canard of Jericho and the conquest of Canaan by the Israelites.

Week #4 -  Romans, Messiahs, and the seeds of Christian Intolerance

Roman Law, Slavery in antiquity, Concepts of the Jewish messiah. The political situation in Judaea (Israel) around the birth of Yeshua, the story of Yeshua, the Apostles, & the invention of Christianity by Saul of Tarsus, the supersession of Judaism by Christianity, and the seeds of intolerance introduced by Paul. The demonizing of the Jews.

Week # 5 - The Battle for the soul of Christianity  33CE - 300 CE

The battle between the Apostles and Paul. The Councils of Jerusalem and Antioch 50CE. The triumph of Paulism in early Christianity. The early Christians from 33 CE to 300CE,  Arius and The Arian Heresy, the invention of the Gospel, the culling of the Gospel, the Greekness of the Gospel. Christianity during and after the last Roman persecution ending in 312 CE and the Emperor Constantine’s brilliant plan!!!
